Iron Lion on call. Your standing AI counsel.
For firms that want the defense to stay current without thinking about it: monthly monitoring, quarterly reviews, a regulator-readiness file, and a named response time when something goes wrong. Founding members lock this rate for life.
What a quarter includes
- Monthly monitoring. New tools, new features in tools you already use, new rules from regulators and bar associations, checked against your register every month.
- Quarterly review and briefing. A refreshed exposure register, updated roadmap, and a one-hour briefing for the partners or owners.
- The regulator-readiness file. Maintained continuously, so the answer to "show us your AI governance" is a file you already have.
- Named response time. When something goes wrong, an AI error in a filing, a data question from a client, a complaint, you have a number to call and a written response commitment.
- Staff office hours. A monthly session where your team brings the questions before they become incidents.
- Founding rate, locked. Founding members keep this rate for as long as they stay. Later seats will not.
Why founding seats are limited
A retainer is only worth paying for if the person on the other end actually knows your firm. Iron Lion caps founding seats so every retainer client gets the founder, not a delegate. When the founding seats are gone, the rate goes up and the founder guarantee changes.

Questions people ask before they say yes
Is there a minimum term?
Two quarters, then quarter to quarter. Founding members who stay keep the founding rate.
What counts as an incident for the response commitment?
Any AI-related event that could reach a client, a regulator, or a court: a wrong output that went out, a data exposure, a complaint, a records request. You call, we respond within the committed window, and we work it with you and your counsel.
Do we need a Build first?
Usually. The retainer maintains a defense; it cannot maintain one that was never built. We will tell you on the call if you are ready.
Can the retainer cover more than one location?
Yes, scoped on the call. Multi-location firms are typically two seats.
